The history of maison laurent
The Laurent family is among the oldest winemakers in the region. Its history is tied to a small village in the Côte des Bar, south of Champagne, Celles-sur-Ource. Initially, Athanas Laurent settled there in 1850 as a champagne producer, selling to traders. Generations have followed and preserved their winemaker ancestors' expertise, traditions, and vine-growing methods.
Today, the dedicated team at Maison Jean Laurent continues this legacy. and the enthusiasts who bring our house to life daily.
